Pastor Charlene A. Wisher Howard

 

Pastor Charlene A. Wisher-Howard grew up in Wilmington, Delaware and is the youngest daughter of five children to the late Rev. Charlotte A. Wisher and the late Martin William Wisher, Sr.  Pastor Howard moved from Wilmington, Delaware to Denver, Colorado in February of 1996.

 

Pastor Howard answered her call to preach, teach and reach everyone through the Word of God by the Holy Spirit in October 1999.  The late Rev. J. Langston Boyd, Jr. inspired and encouraged her ministerial gifts at Shorter Community A.M.E. Church in Denver, Colorado.

 

Pastor Howard was ordained and served as an Itinerate Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and was appointed pastor of Christ Our Redeemer A.M.E. Church by The Right Reverend John R. Bryant the former Bishop of the Fifth Episcopal District on Sunday, December 18, 2005; further serving as Pastor through August 23, 2009. 

 

Pastor Howard received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix – Colorado campus.  She received her Master of Divinity Degree in May 2004 from the Iliff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado. 

 

Pastor Howard is the founder of Chosen Women of God….On Fire For Christ Ministry, and the Colorado Alliance of Women In Ministry which is directed by the Spirit of the Lord, to provide an anointed atmosphere for fellowship and to further develop and encourage spiritual and physical relationship.  It also provides Godly counsel, spiritual enrichment and physical help.

 

Pastor Howard is currently the Founder-Pastor of Issues of Life Church Ministries in Aurora, Colorado also known as the ‘Light House’ which launched on September 28, 2014!

 

Pastor Howard finds the challenge of preaching, teaching, singing, praising and worshipping the Lord to be the most intense and the most rewarding experience and recommends it to everyone who is determined to influence the future of American and our Global Society.

 

Pastor Charlene A. Wisher-Howard is wedded to Louis G. Howard, Jr.  Pastor Howard’s motto is “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me”  Philippians 4:13
